Jon Davies is a meteorologist and severe weather researcher whose work on tornado forecasting has influenced operational practice across the United States. Over more than three decades he has published on supercell tornadoes, cold-core systems, and the parameters that distinguish tornadic environments — research developed in the field and built to last.
